#morningfrostreport

The #morningfrostreport began in 2013 as a meditation on the impacts of deferred maintenance of homes in formerly redlined neighborhoods and has evolved to become a project documenting changes to climate over time.

Posts of frost are made only on days when temperatures drop low enough to produce frost on the windows of my home and include a brief phenology of the weather conditions at the the photograph is taken.

Over time, one can see evidence of change in climate in the temperature ranges, duration of reports for a given year, or gaps in reports when the temperatures are too high to record frost.

The project will continue to evolve, eventually becoming compiled into a larger document contextualizing these overlapping concerns.
