ABOUT

Annushka Peck is an educator and practicing artist, who also consults on creative placemaking and design issues. Her creative practice employs a range of processes and media in exploring the liminal spaces found in systemic organization, built and neglected space  and the cultural and historical landscapes that permeate the contemporary urban experience. As an educator and creative practitioner, she is committed to fostering equitable, transdisciplinary environments, making space to investigate, explore, synthesize and solve problems holistically, as well as empowering participants the latitude to extend and redefine boundaries, to create new realms for investigation, practice and problem-solving.

She is currently the Director of the 3D Lab and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Product Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and holds an MFA in Intermedia from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Past work includes Milwaukee-based public projects with organizations such as Milwaukee Public Theatre, beintween and iN:SiTE; consulting work for the Greater Milwaukee Committee on the Beerline Creational Trail expansion; video work screened at v1B3 (Video in the Built Environment) in Valencia, Spain, a residency at the Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City, California, as well as a record of regional and national exhibitions.
